|2003 Toyota to appear next month!

It is believed that the Toyota Formula 1 team are going ahead with plans to run their new Toyota TF103 in September.
The 2003 car should, by then, be in a position to take to the track to complete tests on the new engine, suspension and gearbox.
If the car does run next month, the Toyota team will effectively be avoiding the problems of the winter testing ban, which runs from the end of the season until the beginning of January. Most teams dislike the ban because problems in the design of the new cars leave little time for development before the season opener.
By running the car early, Toyota would have a major test behind them before many of the other teams have finished manufacture of their new cars.
